Thank you for your continued support.
This is a notice that all shipments of Kotobukiya Lightsaber-themed Chopsticks Light-Up Ver. have been suspended due to battery leakage in the product packaging.
Below you will find additional details about the suspension and how we plan to resolve this issue:
Reason For Suspension of Shipment
Following an internal investigation, we determined battery leakage in product packaging due to the length of time in the warehouse.
The battery included with the chopsticks are contained in separate blister packaging. The products are not flammable nor are they in danger of explosion.
Next Steps/Action
Kotobukiya will provide replacement batteries for any distributors who find that the batteries in the packaging have started to leak. Please contact the Customer Support Center below for replacement battery requests. Customers outside of Japan may contact the Kotobukiya Customer Support Center by email:
Kotobukiya will fulfill battery replacement requests until mid-June, 2020.
